Milestone Haiku Alpha 1

HaikuPorts adopted proposals on the Haiku Alpha Proposed list. This Milestone will help drive these to closure.

• Prop # 28: Include CVS (accepted) COMPLETED
• Prop # 30: Include Git (voted to not be a requirement, but we can still try to have it done in time)
• Prop # 31: Include Python (pending discussion, this one tied, so waiting on final decision)
• Prop # 36: Include yasm and/or nasm (accepted) COMPLETED (Yasm included, perhaps we can also get nasm built and have that included as well)

No "official" target date has been set for Haiku's Alpha 1 release, but I'm setting a new target date to have python, subversion and git ready by 1/31/2009 if we can.

Update: Python was added to Haiku's OptionalPackages? on 05/29/2009 thus closing the last item needed for this milestone.
