python-2.5.2 is mostly working. There's a few test cases that are failing, but it's usable for some things.

Closing this as python 2.5.2 works well enough to build newer versions of python. Focus should move to porting the latest versions of the 2.5.x, 2.6.x and 3.x branches.

2.5.x is being ported; 2.6.x is trunk, 3.x experimental.
Using a non-packaged Subversion requires Python, thus rescheduling.
