Additionally, when exiting:
DirectDaemon?: failed to acquire direct sem: Bad semaphore ID
Confirmed by scottmc.
On start, printing of the BRect() should be ommitted as well:

svn4954 with combined svn4901 patch shows no cursor in fullscreen mode;
the cursor (black with white outline) is visible in windowed mode, though.
on a related note: when an app opens "behind" the cursor in windowed mode,
the be hand cursor stays. moving the cursor out and into the windows makes
it change shape to arrow with white outline.
