got a .bep file and patch that builds the latest version of freetype? The freetype.pc that you attached to haiku-2949 doesn't look quite right to me. Also I'm not quite sure we should be adding .pc files to Haiku. So perhaps once a working .bep and patch are done for freetype, those could be used to bring in a correct freetype.pc file.

Applied in r1110, but marked as broken. Unitl there's a working cairo or freetype .bep file that allows pango to build cleanly, let's keep this one open.
