To join !HaikuPorts you can now register [/register here].  It is also recommended that you join the [MailingList mailing list(s)].  SVN access is earned, so until then you can attach patches and bep files to related trac tickets.  If there isn't a trac ticket for the port you are working on you can open a new trac ticket for it, and attach your work there.
