+I got 2.5.2 building again.  I think the [http://ports.haiku-files.org/browser/haikuports/trunk/dev-lang/python/python-2.5.2-haiku.diff?rev=178 patch] is ok now.
+I will update this entry in a couple days, as I'm heading out of town till.  Don't forgot to install a previously working python, in order to build python, I think this is what was tripping me up for the last few build attempts.
