Copy in Haiku config.guess/.sub files,  Patch, then run:

  • cat acinclude/libtool.m4 >> aclocal.m4
  • cat acinclude/sdl.m4 >> aclocal.m4
  • aclocal
  • libtoolize --copy --force
  • aclocal
  • autoconf
  • ./autogen.sh
  • ./configure --prefix=/boot/common LDFLAGS=-L/boot/common/lib CPPFLAGS=-I/boot/common/include

This will build both the shared and static libraries, and include png and jpeg support.

There is still an issue getting tiff included.
